After the bug fix this app has become the best app I pocess in my iPhone. Thank You I can film again.

Amazing. This app is such a help.

Does what it says on the label, and does it well. Very pleased with the prompt response to a recent glitch in a previous update, and the rightful order is once again restored. ^__^ I maintain that the price point is kind of a joke for an iphone app, but thats more a problem of a fundamental misunderstanding of the economics of essentially leasing data than an issue with the scruples of the developers themselves. Enjoy it while you can, I guess.

The PDF export would work. It says when I try to email the link no Internet connection. Is just weird that I exported the QuickTime movie successfully iver the same Internet connection. Then tried to send it a an attachment and after I hit the send button the app crashes. Now I cant provide my clients with PDFs.

Update: Ok the bug fix came through! Checked everything.. Appears to be working good thus far! awesome thanx! :) Truthfully, I dont trust the lagging update fix was all due to apples red tape & I feel there may have been some scapegoating going on here, because I have had other apps that have fixed bugs & the updates were available in a matter of 2 days. Unfortunately honesty is rare in this current $tate of humanity, but either way, the wonderful update is here now so as promised, Im raising my rating for ya* Now I can put this wonderful app to good use for my next performance... Thanx! Bows to all beings Previous review: [Crashes immediately...] Wow how quickly the ratings have dropped down for this app.. This review system realy makes this app store great... Power to the People! Yes it was working great for me before the update.. But after the update, it also crashes for ne immediately when I try to open it. You hit the icon... You see the loading intro screen... Then it crashes. I have a perfomance on Saturday that I was planning to use the app to prepare for... Now Im out of luck. This is not a 99 cent app.. This app is on the expencive end of the AppStore.. quality, dependability, & good customer support should be upheld to mach the high price of this app & you need to be sure to do extencive testing before releasing an update with an app that so many people have chosen to integrate into use for their livelyhood & such. Now they are locked out of there projects & peoples lives are affected. You guys have done a great job with this app which is why serious artists & professionals have come to use this app in there projects so please fix it to make this app awsome again! If you have to do an update that reverts back to the previous vervion until you fix this issue, then so be it.... Im sure your clients would rather you revert back to the previous version so they can axess their projects, than continue on with the current situation! Ill raise my rating as soon as you either give us an update that reverts back to the previous working version or you give us the new fixed update everyones been waiting for! The App runs great, I am on a iPhone 4 and I really enjoy the options. I didnt mind paying the $19.99 for such a well made app. I think it keeps resetting my camera motion when I go in to edit it but that for now is negligible, The one thing that kills me is that when I tried to send a test to myself it has their name and logo on the PDF. I paid for this app and I am sure any movie friends of mine who need the app would ask what I used if they need it. I dont necessarily want the people I am sending this to to know how I did it and what I used. If it was a .99c app ok but for $20 I should own the right to keep my sources for creativity for myself. Otherwise I really like the app.

I NEVER thought Id find an app that was worth $20, but this is one incredibly useful tool. As a filmmaker who has to work closely with left-brained people, this app is going to be so helpful in communicating what Im trying to create. Its very easy to use, and the learning curve is minimal. I cant wait to see how they update this moving forward.

This app is so good I wish it ran on my mac! On my iPhone I use it with the Sketchbook app & the Photogene. So I sketch each shot in the Sketchbook app, then I adjust the look & color in the Photogene app, after that i send all the sketches into the Cinemek app. Great app, for me a must during production! (iPad version please).

$20 and its a crappy iphone app! Not optimized for ipad as claimed! Not only that, you have to use pics instead of drawing, or a virtual set. So you have to go to the set and photo EVERYTHING you need from the exact angle you need it or youre stuck. The video on the site made it seem like you could use virtual stand-ins, but you cant unless you already have photos. For $20 this is a complete RIP OFF! STAY AWAY!!!!

This is a really cool app, and as far as I know there really isnt anything like it for the iphone.

Great app, but still having problems with crashing. Almost every time I delete a panel, the app crashes. The app also crashed on me multiple times while trying to export a .PDF. Still, great app that I use a lot.

I direct TV shows and I really like the real time pacing and the audio functions of this app. It allows me to see and hear a pre-viz of of the show before I actually shoot it. Its amazing. Moving forward, Id like to be able to put pictures of actual actors in the storyboard to "fill in" the blank faces of the stand-ins. Or at least to be able to number the stand -ins so we know which character is which. I know this can all be avoided by actually taking photos of real actors but thats not always possible. Other wise I think this is an amazing app and well worth the 20 bucks I spent getting it.

An amazing app... My only suggestion is that it would be nice to be able to crop the people in order to place them "behind" objects like counters, or doorways, etc... Great app over all!

I make the occasional Machinima movie (Machinima: The use of real-time graphics-rendering game engines, mostly three-dimensional, to generate computer animation). One day, during my work lunch break, I was thinking to myself: "Man, wouldnt it be great if I could storyboard my Machinima movie while Im at lunch, on my phone?" I was very doubtful that there would be any app so sophisticated as to generate storyboards on my iPhone--but lo and behold, here it is. This app is well worth the money for ANY movie-maker, amateur or professional. I love the capability of recording voiceovers and jotting down notes for each panel, and exporting the storyboard to PDF or Quicktime is absolutely amazing. The only thing I would love to see added is an "Undo" button (While there is a "Remove" function, "Undo" seems more natural for a Photoshop geek like me) and maybe a small library of generic backgrounds. Thanks for making such an awesome app, Cinemek!

Best buy for movie makers and creative visual artists. I use this with artemis for setting up scenes and outdoor photo shoots. Great for creating visuals. I wish there existed a lighting software that did the same job. Hint developers!!!!

How on earth is there no setting to output a higher res QuickTime file?! Also- it really needs an aspect ratio option to switch to different frames. Were shooting in 2:35:1 so all our imported hand drawn boards get cut off. It would also be nice to have the ability to add more than one camera move per panel, like a dolly in/boom up etc. I love the ease of use, but unless I can output to a higher resolution video, I cant show this to anyone and have it look professional. Its a great start, but missing very essential elements.

At 1.0, Hitchcock was fantastic. Here we are two years later at 1.23 and very little has changed. (It takes two years to add a print function?) If the developers want to abandon this app, maybe we users should too.

Please upgrade this app ASAP. Im a Director of Photography and have several projects coming up. This app is great for quick down and dirty storyboarding. Love it a lot but every single time I even try to launch the app it crashes. I really need to use it. Has become a staple for me in my pre-pro work.
